Terms & Conditions

We want your stay at Fernie Slopeside Lodge to be as straightforward and stress-free as possible. The following Terms & Conditions are in place to clarify booking policies, payment details, incidentals, and pet guidelines. Please take a moment to review them prior to your visit.

Refundable Rates 

Reservations booked under a refundable rate may be cancelled or modified free of charge if notice is received: 

  • More than 7 days prior to arrival 

Cancellations or modifications made within 7 days of arrival, as well as no-shows, will result in the full cost of the stay being charged. 

Your credit card will be pre-authorized for the full stay plus incidentals upon arrival. 

 

Non-Refundable Rates 

Reservations booked under a non-refundable rate require full payment at the time of booking. 

  • No refunds will be issued for cancellations or modifications at any time 
  • Your credit card will be pre-authorized for incidentals only upon arrival 

 

Incidentals 

At check-in, a refundable incidental hold of $100 per night, up to $500, will be placed on your credit card. 

This hold covers incidental charges and will be released at checkout, subject to inspection and any outstanding balances. 

 

Group & WTO Rates 

Reservations booked under Group or WTO rates are subject to the same incidental policy: 

  • A $100 per night incidental hold, to a maximum of $500, will be placed on the credit card at check-in 
  • The hold will be released at checkout, subject to any charges incurred 
  • Groups have until 30 days before their booking for a full refund 
  • Groups cancelling between 14-29 days of booking will receive a 50% refund 
  • No refunds will be issued for cancellations or modifications done within 14 days of your booking 

 

Pet Policy 

Fernie Slopeside Lodge is pet-friendly, with pets permitted in designated rooms only. 

Please advise your booking agent at the time of reservation, or contact the hotel in advance, if you will be travelling with a pet. 

  • Pet Fee: CAD $35 per accommodation, per stay (Standard Rooms only) 
  • Maximum: 2 pets per room 
  • Exclusions: The Alpine Suite is not pet-friendly 
  • Service Animals: Service animals are exempt from pet fees 

 

Pet Housekeeping & Behaviour Expectations 

To ensure a comfortable stay for all guests, pet owners are required to observe the following: 

  • Pets must be supervised at all times and may not be left unattended in guest rooms 
  • Pets must be leashed or securely contained when outside of guest rooms 
  • Guests are responsible for cleaning up after their pets 
  • Excessive noise, damage, or disruption caused by pets may result in additional cleaning or repair charges 

Fernie Slopeside Lodge reserves the right to restrict or remove pets that pose a safety concern or cause ongoing disruption to other guests.

If cancelled or modified less than 7 days before arrivals, or in case of no show, the total stay will be charged.
